Sat on the channel it enjoys a mild and sunny micro-climate protected by the south downs, which enjoyed over 30 degree Celsius temperatures in the summer and rarely drops below 0 degrees in the winter.
A perfect place to holiday in the UK in or out of season.

What does Eastbourne have to offer?
Whether you are a theatre lover, and want to enjoy the delights and abundance of Theatres, and Pop up shows around the town, a Tennis follower or a History Buff , there is always an exhibition or place to visit to satisfy your interest., and an ever changing array of exhibitions and shows.
Maybe you are a lover of adventure, and want a ride on the Eastbourne Eye – a 50 metre high wheel, on the seafront, or an avid music fan here to enjoy the variety of shows around Eastbourne or pomp and glory of the 1930’s bandstand on the seafront. Either way Eastbourne has it all, and has done for many years, with Guests returning time and time again to enjoy this East Sussex gem, and discover more each time they visit.
For the young at heart or the youth amongst us there are long pebble beaches with a wind surfing / sailing school, local horse riding, mini golf, and play areas.
Drusillas Park – A small 10-acre zoo, with 100’s of animals and a families of Meerkats is a just few miles away .
Princes Park has play areas and a lake, to enjoy lovely walks and picnics, amongst the swans and ducks that reside there.
Family time is very much a beachy experience here, enjoyed from morning until sunset, with rock pools and fossil searching amongst the favourites.
There are various visiting markets and food events along with Car shows and the famous Eastbourne Airbourne – An international 4 day air show, 17th – 20th August., and celebrating it’s 29th year in 2023, including the RAF red arrows, RAF Typhoon and a Battle of Britain Memorial flight, and much more.
It is easy to get around, with our local bus service, on the coastal road, to Bexhill on Sea, Hastings, Brighton, or for the Guests looking for fabulous walks or a drive over the South Downs National Park. See the chalky cliffs of Beachy Head – here you can view the lighthouse built in 1902 with it’s iconic stripes and stunning location.
The Severn Sisters, sea cliffs on the eroded coast of the South Downs and a scenic spot with café. Cuckmere Haven, a quiet little spot and Birling gap (where for now at least) the lovely cottages and steps to the pebbly beach and cliffs are available to view, before the sea takes this part of beautiful history.
It’s all to discover here in East Sussex, and accessible not far from the front door of our cottages!

Maybe a trip to historic Rye where you can meander the cobbled streets, with half timbered houses beautiful St Mary’s church, with it’s Norman tower overlooking the town. The Writer Henry James once lived in the much-visited redbrick Lamb House, now owned by the National Trust.

Sovereign Harbour is just a stones throw from our cottages where you can take a morning coffee, in the cafes or a fabulous lunch whilst watching the world go by, with superb yachts and sailing boats to peruse, or take a boat trip yourself, and see Eastbourne from the water. The Sovereign Harbour has direct access to the sea front , where you may take a flat walk onto the main promenade, see the Victorian hotels along the front and stroll out to sea on the 19th century Pier.
Or visit the 1930’s bandstand. and the delights of further shops and eateries along with local shops and restaurants.

Sunny, cosy, south facing, two bedroom holiday homes with everything you need for a relaxing holiday! All within with in easy reach of everything Eastbourne has to offer.
Where are we? Our cottages are just a short walk away from Eastbourne’s Sovereign harbour and a variety of main stores, large supermarket and waterside cafes and restaurants. There should be everything you need for the shortest or longest of holidays.
Situated in a gated community in a private holiday park, our cottages offer a quiet space, yet are just a stones throw away from the Sovereign Harbour. If you are joining us by car, there is free parking near your cottage, and if not, we are easily accessed from Eastbourne main train station, with just a taxi ride or short regular bus journey.
Unlike hotels or apartments there is outside space to relax, enjoy the lovely sunshine, BBQ and with the bonus of free parking. Highly recommend.
